Canyon Run |
A 2-hour guided white water raft adventure (Class III & IV) down the Nenana River. Great for first-time rafters seeking some excitement!
You'll have two options for your rafting adventure: 1) Oar Boat - Guests hold on while a guide controls raft (ages 10 & up) or 2) Paddle Raft - Guests paddle as a team with a guide's assistance (ages 14 and up).

Backcountry 4 Wheeling Tour |
Travel old mining trails as your knowledgeable guide will narrate a history of Denali, take you to breathtaking overlooks, identify wildlife, and share local knowledge of the old Black Diamond Mine, Athabascan Indian artifacts and more. Tours are family-friendly with 1 and 2 person ATV's. You’ll be equipped with a helmet, intercom, gloves and rain gear (if needed). This guided and narrated trip lasts approximately two hours.

Your Jeep Wrangler® carries four guests, and there will be several stops to switch drivers, so everyone can enjoy the thrill of maneuvering along this wilderness road. Interactive two-way radios allow your guide to interpret the area. You will stop for a break at a wilderness camp where you can enjoy a small "wilderness" cooked meal. Transfers in Denali are included. *Not recommended for very small children*

With Denali Backcountry Guides you get years of experience and knowledge of The Park, its wildlife and its eco-systems. Your guide will walk you through some amazing terrain and there is always a good chance of spotting wildlife. This tour is for those who want more of an experience than just sitting in the bus on The Park Road. The hike lasts 3 hours.

A bus ride to Wonder Lake, the lake located at the base of Mt. Mckinley, is a journey of a lifetime. While National Park Service does offer this trip, Kantishna Wilderness Trails is the only private company who offers this same journey with extra services such as a private naturalist and a warm lunch and snacks. Plus, your fare includes the Dog Sled Demonstration or Interpretive Program. Their bus will pick you up and drop you off right across the street from The Salmon Bake. We highly recommend this trip. |
